ABOUT THE MEDICAID ACCESS COALITION

The Medicaid Access Coalition was formed by community partners in 2026 to prevent Medicaid loss in our region. The goal of the coalition is to ensure every person in Kalamazoo County who is eligible for Medicaid will continue to receive it, and will be able to access support to meet new work and reporting requirements.

Through the Medicaid Matters: Stay Covered Kalamazoo! campaign, we can increase awareness of the coming changes, ensure Medicaid recipients update their MiBridges contact information, and provide navigation services to help people submit the needed documentation and/or connect them to qualifying activities.
